About us
It was love at first sight - Lombok, the tropical Indonesian island next to Bali. Lombok, the island of the Sasaks, the native people, is still rugged, untouched and especially quiet. In 1997 we travelled around beautiful Lombok and found this spot - the place we wanted to build a hotel. At that time it was only a dream, now it is reality. A wild and overgrown coastal area had to be made ready for a building site, which was an adventure in itself. In may 2000 the main building with three rooms was completed, in 2001 the Sea Bungalow with four more rooms and then in 2003 the Sun Bungalow was finished, with four rooms as well. So now we have eleven rooms and continue to edge towards our goal - which has been made possible with the support of our loyal staff and dear friends. In the near future we intend to build additional rooms and a swimming pool close to our white sandy beach.
